2/10/17 So I start watching this documentary today just randomly because it is on the list, of course. It is about people who get in front of an audience and read diary entries and songs and letters and poems they wrote when they were kids and it is way funny. They definitely have shows in Portland so I got on to see when the next show is that maybe Jeremy and I could see up there and I struck documentary gold. There is a show tomorrow night here in Denver. I would wait for Jeremy, but the next show isn't for quite some time and I just can't pass it up.
I'm not gonna lie. That was a great show. The stories and the pictures made me literally laugh out loud. The MC and the band had songs between each speaker that related to their words, testimonies, recitations (obviously I have no idea what to call it). I am going to have to pull my six or seven journals off the shelf and see if I have anything worth sharing. I would totally get up in front of people and share my innermost intimate thoughts as a child. We can all so relate to them. The best story from tonight involved someone sticking her hand in the toilet and throwing her poop out the window because she knew it was too big to flush down and there was a hot guy in the house. That basically sums up the fun I had. Will definitely go back and next time will take as many friends as possible.
